As a child I used to love to Making Kool-Aid at my Grandma’s house. She would let one of us Grandkid’s Make Kool-Aid. To me this always seemed like a great honor. I’m not really sure why but it did, but none the less I felt that way. We almost always had Kool-Aid when we went to Grandma’s for dinners.
For the most part the dinner’s where Easter, Thanksgiving or
Christmas. Sometimes we did go for dinners at Grandma’s &
Grandpa’s for other occasions. But maybe that’s why I have fond memories
of Making Kool-Aid, is because it was usually a holiday. I don’t know for
sure.
Of course when I Making Kool-Aid now it’s usually for my
husband, who likes it a little sour. Since my husband like’s his Kool-Aid
sour, I usually only Make Kool-Aid for me to drink when we have friends over
for a BBQ.
I do know that even to this day when I go to Make
Kool-Aid, it brings back the memories of honor I felt as a child. When I
open up a package of Kool-Aid the smell is such sometimes the pick me up I
might need for that day. As adults sometimes we sometime forget that the
simple things in life, like Making Kool-Aid, is some of the best memories we
have.
So don’t forget to allow your children or
grandchildren the privilege of Making Kool-Aid. Whether it be for a
holiday dinner, just a normal dinner or because it’s hot outside & Making
Kool-Aid is just what you need to cool down with.
My favorite flavor of Kool-Aid is Black Cherry.
What’s yours?
